Dear St. Maurice Grade 6 Parents/Guardians,

​This week in math, the 6A students worked on problem solving, mathematical reasoning, and mental math; they also learned about probability.  In science, students continued learning about electricity.

​

​This week in math, the 6B students worked on problem solving, mathematical reasoning, and mental math; they also learned about probability.  In science, students continued learning about electricity.  In S.S., students learned about the end of the Cold War, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and Canada's peacekeeping contributions.  Lastly, students said goodbye to the grade 12 graduates and Mrs. Grieve; they also had an awards assembly, and they had fun learning about Hoop Dancing and bowling.  Students also had ELA, music, gym, and French.

It has truly been a pleasure to teach your child this year.  I'll always remember my time with them. Thank you for your support and understanding.  To my grade 6 students, thank you for all the memories.  I have enjoyed teaching you all and will miss you.  I wish you the best as you embark on this new chapter of grade 7, whether it is back at SMS or at a new school.​
